I've been reading 1 Corinthians during the last couple days.
I tensed up at least once in every single chapter.
I think I decided that I don't like it.
I like the other stuff the guy has written, but based only on Corinthians, I don't think Paul would have been my best friend.
At least I'm being honest....

Interesting perspective. I'd love to talk about it with you. What specifically made you tense up? I think it's time for another Starbucks run (this time with Corinthians in tow). I love your honesty...it's VERY refreshing.
I guess he just seemed really insensitive and rather harsh...
and I might disagree with some things...
I can understand that for chapters like 5, 7, 11, and 14, but surely not chapters 1, 3, and 15! I think those are some of the most beautiful passages of the Bible.
