I crack myself up.
Because its human nature everyone wants to be better than someone else. Its just how we humans work I guess. But that doesn't really answer your question. I don't know ask God or someone wise.

This is one thing I was referring to in my reply to your comment on my post about being helper. Our focus is on the wrong place-- ME-- rather than HIM. It's human nature.
There is nobody more beautiful to me than a person who is focused on loving others for who they are. I truly admire people who have overcome the sin of self-centeredness and truly love others and build them up. I confess that I have a difficult time with this.
I've decided that I'm going to challenge myself to "29 days of loving others" for the month of February.
